Step 3: Administer Naloxone
Naloxone Intranasal Atomizing Device (Nasal Kit)
The intranasal use of Naloxone is not currently FDA-approved.

Take off yellow caps.

Screw on the white cone.

Take purple cap off Nalaxone capsule.

Gently screw capsule of Naloxone into barrel of the syringe.

ADMINISTER ONE HALF OF THE CAPSULE INTO EACH NOSTRIL
by inserting white cone into nostril; give a short, strong push on end of thecapsule to spray Naloxone into one side of the nose, and then repeat on the other side of the nose (2 sprays total per dose).

If no reaction in 3 minutes, give a second dose (2 sprays) if available. Seek medical care.
